I was blown away by the location of One&Only Le Saint Geran. Set on a private peninsula, the resort feels secluded and exclusive, and the beaches are simply stunning. I'm not sure I've ever seen such powdery white sand. The gardens are lovely too, and walking around the resort you get a real sense of space.

Children: Children are welcome at One&Only Le Saint Geran. The KidsOnly club accepts children aged 3 - 7 years of age, however children under 3 are welcome with a guardian. The TweensOnly club caters for 8 - 12 year olds and One Tribe club is open for 13 - 17 year olds.

Tapasake is open for dinner and serves Pan Asian cuisine in a stunning overwater setting. Prime serves organic steak and local seafood for dinner either in the stylish steakhouse restaurant or outdoor terrace. La Pointe is open during the day and offers a casual Mauritian barbecue in a poolside setting. Le Badamier is open for lunch and serves southern French and Italian cuisine beside the beach under the shade of a Badamier tree. L’Artisan is open throughout the day and into the evening, offering coffees, smoothies, pastries and casual meals in a relaxed café setting
