The choice of dining options at Constance Belle Mare Plage is exceptional, with eight stylish restaurants and several bars. Guests can enjoy Indian Ocean cuisine at the clubhouse of the resort’s Legend golf course, sushi in a beachfront setting and the very first a la carte restaurant to be located in a wine cellar, to name just a few! The Bar meanwhile offers a chic area at the heart of the resort where guests can enjoy live entertainment in the evening.

Fun and relaxation for all ages

Constance Belle Mare Plage is a popular destination for golfers, with access to two 18-hole championship golf courses, one of which is located directly behind the resort and the other just a short transfer away. Other sports and leisure facilities include a range of complimentary watersports, including water-skiing, floodlit tennis courts and mini golf. Younger guests can make the most of the excellent kids club, whilst their parents indulge in a spa treatment or simply relax on one of the island’s best beaches.

Our opinion

I loved the varied dining options at Constance Belle Mare. I particularly liked the atmosphere in the Blue Penny wine cellar, and would definitely recommend booking this if you are celebrating a special occasion during your stay. The resort has something for everyone in terms of its facilities, yet it somehow doesn’t have the feel of a large resort.

Location: Constance Belle Mare Plage is located on the East Coast of Mauritius, roughly a 60 minute drive from the airport

Children: Children are welcome all year round and the Constance Kids Club is open for children from 4-11 years old

Indigo is a beachside restaurant serving sushi, and south east Asian delicacies or original pizza from their traditional wood fired oven. Deer Hunter is located at the Golf course and offers traditional Indian Ocean cuisine, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Blu Sushi is open for dinner and specialises in sushi, overlooking the beach with a relaxed beach club feel. Lakaze is a beach restaurant with a sand floors concept serving light lunches. La Spiaggia is open for dinner and serves Mediterranean dishes, located on a wooden deck overlooking the ocean. Le Swing overlooks the golf course and serves light lunches. Blue Penny Cellar is an a la Carte fine dining restaurant located in the wine cellar
