Accommodation at 20 Degres Sud is set in two storey buildings facing the lagoon and decorated in a traditional and homely style. Due to the intimate nature of the property, most rooms are within close proximity to the waterfront and they either overlook the beautiful coconut grove or the bay. There is something very homely about the atmosphere here, and this combined with excellent levels of service showcases Mauritian hospitality at its very best.
As a member of Relais & Chateaux, it is hardly surprising that 20 Degres Sud enjoys an excellent reputation for cuisine. A particular highlight is the M/S Lady Lisbeth - the oldest motorboat on the island which offers a dinner cruise like no other! There is also an elegant restaurant that overlooks the pretty pool terrace on one side and the bay on the other, along with a beach restaurant that is shaded by a huge sail.
In a secluded spot at the heart of the hotel is 20 Degrees Sud’s Secret Spa, where guests can indulge in a range of treatments and make use of a tranquil spa pool. The hotel could not be in a better position for exploring the north of the island, and we can’t think of a better place to relax afterwards than on the small beach or beside the quiet courtyard pool.
This hotel is cosy, charming and unique. Though Grand Baie is right on your doorstep, the 20 Degrees Sud is tucked away in its own bay and feels very private and secluded.
20 Degres Sud has just 36 rooms and suites found in colonial style, two-story buildings. All rooms and suites feature air conditioning, mini bar and tea & coffee making facilities, a flatscreen TV with films on demand, a safe, hair dryer and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Menus combine an international flare with local flavours. M/S Lady Lisbeth is the islands oldest motorboat which sets sail every evening for a dinner cruise, seating 8 passengers and serving a set menu. La Voile is a beach restaurant open throughout the day until sunset
