Stylish and contemporary villas

Villas at Finolhu are elegant and contemporary, with stylish decor reflecting the stunning blues and whites of the sea and sand beyond your accommodation. Guests can opt for a villa on the beach surrounded by lush tropical greenery, or for an overwater villa offering uninterrupted ocean views. Many of the villas at Finolhu offer the luxury of a private pool, and there are plenty of interconnecting and two bedroom options for families. To add something truly unique to your stay, you can book a Beach Bubble experience and spend a night sleeping under the stars on the sandbank, as well as enjoying a beach barbecue and breakfast on the beach.

Varied dining and superb cuisine

An important part of a luxury holiday experience is enjoying some of the finest cuisine your destination has to offer. At Finolhu, guests can choose between four restaurants that offer everything from Japanese fine dining to authentic Arabian cuisine. A favourite of the Tropic Breeze team is the Crab Shack, which can be reached by a stroll along the sandbank or a short boat ride, and offers a rustic setting for dinner or lunch with your toes in the sand. At the end of the day, enjoy sophisticated evening entertainment at The Beach Club, whilst you sip your favourite cocktail.

Extensive activities or endless relaxation

For those who prefer an active holiday, the options at Finolu are extensive. Facilities include both indoor and outdoor gyms, a golf simulator and a range of motorised and non-motorised watersports. The house reef at Finolhu is vibrant, and the Baa Atoll is a great place to spot manta rays, particularly if you are travelling over the summer months. There is also an art and craft studio for those keen to pass their time with more creative activities. Those simply looking to unwind can indulge in a spa treatment, visit the outdoor yoga pavilion or simply relax on the stunning white sands looking out over the turquoise lagoon.

Room Types

Finolhu offers 125 contemporary villas, located either on the beach, the lagoon or on stilts over the water. All villas offer king beds, luxurious furnishings, a Marshall Sound System, flat screen television, telephone, high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning and an overhead fan, in-room safe, hairdryer and a mini bar and wine bar.

Lagoon Villa

These villas overlook the calm turquoise lagoon and feature a spacious veranda furnished with loungers and offering direct access to the water

These spacious villas are set on stilts over the lagoon and offer an expansive furnished terrace with an eight-metre pool and direct access to the lagoon

Location: Finolhu is located in Baa Atoll, reached by a 30 minute seaplane transfer from Male

Children: Children are welcome all year round at Finolhu. The Oceaneers Club is available for children aged 4-12 years and offers a daily activity schedule

Beach Kitchen is the main buffet restaurant serving international cuisine and open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Kanusan is a fine dining restaurant located on stilts over the ocean and serving a mix of classical and modern Japanese cuisine for dinner. Arabian Grill offers casual evening dining next to the beach with dishes from North Africa to the Middle East. The Crab Shack offers rustic and laid back dining on the sand, open for lunch and dinner. Beach Club serves drinks and snacks throughout the day and drinks into the evening. Milk LAB serves coffees, shakes and sweet treats throughout the day.
