Contemporary villas on the beach and over water

Emerald Maldives offers a range of villa options located either on the beach or perched on stilts above the lagoon. Villas are contemporary in style but make use of locally sourced materials to bring a touch of the Maldives to each accommodation. Families can opt for a Family Beach Villa with Pool, which offers a separate children’s bedroom ensuring everyone has plenty of space for a comfortable stay. For couples, we would recommend upgrading to either a beach or water villa with a private pool for that added touch of luxury!

Deluxe all inclusive dining

All Inclusive at Emerald Maldives means just that when it comes to dining options. Guests can dine in all of the resort's restaurants, with cuisine ranging from Mediterranean to South American and Asian. Guests can also enjoy dining in a variety of different locations. Le Asiatique Restaurant for example is located in the heart of the resort inside an authentic tropical forest, whilst Beach Club Grill is located just steps from the beach with views of the stunning turquoise lagoon.

Extensive activities on an island paradise

If you want to simply relax, there is no better place than on the palm fringed white sands of Emerald Maldives’ beach. The Emerald Spa also offers extensive wellness facilities in a tranquil setting surrounded by lush tropical vegetation - the perfect for unwinding and indulging. Those who prefer to be active will have no shortage of options at Emerald Maldives, from superb snorkelling and diving excursions to the extensive facilities offered by the sports centre. Our opinion

Emerald Maldives is a great option for someone who wants to get away from it all, but also has plenty of activities to get involved in. It is hard to see how you could get bored here! The resort also offers a superb all inclusive plan, with varied dining options from Asian to South American cuisine.

Room Types

Emerald Maldives offers 120 villas, with 60 located on the island and 60 set on stilts over the turquoise lagoon. Villas boast contemporary, tropical style architecture and are designed to blend in with the local environment, making use of natural materials wherever possible. Each villa offers air conditioning, overhead fans, a flat-screen TV, direct dial telephone, king size bed, bathroom with a walk-in shower, bathtub for two, dressing room and walk-in closet, hairdryer, bathrobes, in-room safe, tea and coffee making facilities, daily refreshed minibar and working desk.

Marina Garden Beach Villa with Pool

These villas are located in front of the resort's marina and seaplane arrival area

Hotel Information

Location: Emerald Maldives is reached by a 40 minute seaplane transfer from Male Airport. It is also possible to take a 30 minute domestic flight followed by a 30 minute speedboat transfer

Children: Children are welcome at Emerald Maldives. The Dolphin Kids Club accepts children aged 3 - 14 years and offers a children's pool, restaurant and large outdoor play area

Dining: Stays at Emerald Maldives are on an all inclusive basis. Aqua Restaurant serves Mediterranean cuisine and is the resort's main restaurant, serving buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner with live cooking stations. Beach Club Grill Restaurant boasts a beachfront setting and offers pizza and pasta for lunch, alongside a selection of grilled cuisine. Amazonico Restaurant is open for dinner and serves South and Central American cuisine, with dishes ranging from Mexican and Chilean to Peruvian and Argentinian. Le Asiatique Restaurant is located in the centre of the island surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and serves a range of Asian cuisines for dinner, with a Teppanyaki grill for live cooking shows. Sunset Pool Cafe is the perfect spot to enjoy a drink at sunset or play a game of billiards just steps from the beach. Sunrise Cafe is set right on the beach and is the perfect spot to enjoy a refreshing drink during the day
