Welcome to Cora Cora

Cora Cora is a chic, Maldivian retreat that is all about enjoying the freedom of being on holiday. The resort is set in the stunning Raa Atoll and occupies a picture postcard island surrounded by an azure lagoon and a great house reef. If that isn’t enough to immerse you in the holiday experience, Cora Cora’s premium all inclusive plan and dine around concept allows guests to indulge and enjoy their time in paradise to the fullest.

Water villas at Cora Cora

Contemporary beach and over-water villas

Cora Cora offers villas located on the white sand beach and others standing directly over the lagoon, all with beautiful views of the Indian Ocean. Accommodations are elegant, designed with traditional Maldivian style in mind and featuring all the comforts and amenities you could need for a luxurious stay. Natural colour palettes help to promote a sense of relaxation and also compliment the tropical surroundings of your villa. Whether you are staying on the beach or over the water, we’d highly recommend upgrading to a villa with a pool to make your holiday even more special.

Superb all inclusive dine around

One of our favourite things about Cora Cora is its superb cuisine, and the fact that you can dine in all four a la carte restaurants as part of the resort’s dine around programme. Dining options range from international cuisine inspired by the Maldivian spice route, dishes based on the flavours of Asian street food, Japanese specialities and an Italian style beach club. We particularly love MYCOFFEE, offering amazing coffee and snacks available either to enjoy in the open-air café beside the beach or to take away.

Take to the waters of Raa Atoll

If you tire of relaxing on the beach or by the pool. There is so much to get involved with at Cora Cora. The warm, clear waters of the lagoon are perfect for snorkelling and diving, and there are plenty of watersports to try your hand at. There are also a number of excursions on offer, such as manta and turtle trips and romantic sunset cruises. Unique to Cora Cora is the Museum of Island Heritage, showcasing the fascinating history of the Maldives, with beautiful pieces from as early as the 17th century and two temple tanks thought to be around 900 years old.

Our opinion

I loved my stay at Cora Cora. It's a beautiful island and I particularly liked that all the bars, restaurants and facilities are within close proximity to each other. For a smaller island, they have a lot on offer if you wish to do more than just relax. The all inclusive package is extremely good with a wide variety of cuisine on offer across the four restaurants and as a coffee lover, I was impressed that My Coffee actually roast their own coffee beans on island.
