RAAYA by Atmosphere is the newest addition to the Atmosphere family and a chic All-Inclusive resort which mixes contemporary architecture with traditional Maldivian charm. Located in the Raa Atoll, it is a stunning 45-minute complimentary seaplane transfer from Male International Airport but feels a million miles away once you arrive and find yourself immersed in the world of “Seb’s Island”, discovered in 1954.
Villas are located either on the beach, surrounded by lush tropical vegetation or perched on stilts over the glistening water with direct access to the ocean below. Boasting a unique design and with pitched roofs to give a real sense of space many villas also offer private pools. We think that families and small groups will love the two-bedroom villa options giving them the space and comfort to enjoy quality time together.
Dining options on RAAYA are plentiful and the food itself is excellent. The Village offers some of the finest Italian cuisine we have sampled in the Maldives, with favourites such as pasta, gnocchi and risotto on the menu. Other dining experiences include Middle Eastern fine dining and sumptuous cocktails at MIZÃJ and contemporary Pan-Asian delights at AMPERS&ND. For something a little different, head to Seb's Shack - a laid back beach bar serving refreshing cold drinks along with light bites.
RAAYA manages to strike the perfect balance between its Robinson Crusoe-esque charm with all the benefits of a world-class All-Inclusive escape. For those looking to stay active, twice daily snorkelling excursions to the nearby reef offer mesmerising sights and a range of non-motorised watersports and weekly fitness classes keep the heart rate up. Guests staying a minimum of 4 nights can take advantage of a complimentary spa treatment at ELE|NA Spa, as well as a one complimentary sunset fishing excursion and one sunset cruise per stay. For something that little bit more unique we recommend taking a walk through the island’s own mangroves as well as building your own miniature traditional Dhoni to sail on your last evening.

I loved the view of the sunset from the main pool area and thought the rooftop bar had a great vibe, something really quite different in the Maldives. I was also really impressed with the food. Dining at The Village was a real treat and without doubt the best Tiramisu I have tasted!

Children: Children are welcome at RAAYA by Atmosphere. Discovery Den offers guided art and nature explorations as well as shipwreck adventures and weekly treasure hunts.
Facilities: Swimming pool, rooftop deck, ELE|NA Spa, Fitness Centre, Weekly Yoga, Pilates and Strength Training, Island Entertainment Hub with weekly events inspired by the spirit of RAAYA, mangrove, outdoor activity zone featuring mini golf, padel tennis, football, beach volleyball and skate park, complimentary snorkelling excursions, non-motorised watersports and arts and crafts.

Dining: RAAYA Life is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner serving international favourites in a buffet style with live cooking stations. AMPERS&ND specialises in Pan-Asian cuisine offering locally sourced seafood and premium meats as well as extensive vegetarian options. MIZÃJ converts from pool bar by day to fine-dining restaurant in the evening serving up thoughtfully curated tastes from the Middle East. The Village, with its quant Italian coastal village charm serves the very best flavours of the mediterranean. SOAQ Pool Bar specialises in refreshing cocktails and tempting bar snacks and sits between the pool and the beach. Seb’s Shack offers something a little bit different, a rustic beach shack serving iced drinks, cold beers and light eats that are good for the soul.

Beach Villa: Set within lush tropical foliage just steps from the water and with a spacious terrace with daybed as well as table and chairs. Maximum occupancy: 2 adults (61 sqm)
Beach Villa with Pool: Similar in style to the Beach Villas but with an extended terrace featuring a private plunge pool. Maximum occupancy: 2 adults + 1 child (91 sqm)
Water Villa: Built on stilts over the ocean these villas offer a spacious deck with a daybed, a table and chairs and overwater hammock as well as direct water access. Maximum occupancy: 2 adults (73 sqm)
Water Villa with Pool: Similar in layout to the Water Villas but with an extended deck featuring a private plunge pool alongside steps down to the water. Maximum occupancy: 2 adults (80 sqm)
Deluxe Water Villa with Pool: Similar in style to the Water Villas with Pool but with additional space inside offering an indoor living area. Maximum occupancy: 2 adults + 1 child (92 sqm)
