Our sample itinerary below takes you to some of the most popular areas in Sri Lanka, as well as offering activities and excursions a little more off the beaten track. Day Two

Spend the morning at Sigiriya Rock Fortress, one of Sri Lanka's most iconic sights. The granite peak stands at 180 metres high and dominates the jungle from all sides. Climb to the top via the winding staircases and soak in the history as well as the views. In the afternoon, enjoy a big game drive in the Minneriya National Park and witness "The Gathering", where hundreds of elephants at a time descend on the reservoir in search of water. 

Day Four

Leaving behind the mesmerising sights of the Cultural Triangle, head south to Kandy, a journey of around 3.5 hours. Spend the afternoon exploring Kandy City with a visit to the Temple of the Tooth, as well as a memorable walk through the city's buzzing fruit markets. After soaking up the sights enjoy a warm welcome at Kandy House, your home for the night.

Day Six

Take breakfast at the viewpoint, served by your own personal butler, and soak in the sights of Ragala town and the Badulla mountain range whilst enjoying hearty, homecooked fare. Enjoy plenty of time at leisure today to soak in the awe inspiring surroundings of this former estate managers bungalow and it's grounds. Join the estate walk along scenic paths, taking in the tea pluckers going about their daily work, and round off your day with sundowners at the firepit.

Days Eight to Thirteen

Following a delicious breakfast take your private transfer to the airport for your flight to Male. On arrival experience the warm Maldivian hospitality as you are escorted to the private Constance Seaplane Lounge to relax and await your transfer to the island.

All stays at Constance Moofushi are on an All Inclusive basis with it's two restaurants both offering a barefoot dining experience. The wine cellar is a fabulous edition to the island with 120 wines included in the All Inclusive package. The island is surrounded by a spectacular house reef offering some of the best snorkelling and diving in the Maldives. Explore the reef straight from the beach or visit one of the 32 dive sites within 30 minutes of the resort by boat. Alternatively, just sit back and relax on the beach or at the beautiful pool or enjoy a tailormade spa experience in one of the overwater treatment rooms.
