Set in the lush nature of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hotel Chocolat has rejuvenated the cacao groves of the 140 acre Rabot Estate and created a unique hotel experience overlooking the island’s iconic Piton mountains.

One of our favourite features of the lodges are the open-sky rainforest showers. We would recommend upgrading to the Luxe Lodge accommodations, which feature a private veranda with sun beds, luxurious super-king beds and spectacular views of the Pitons.

The menu explores the use of cocoa as both a sweet and savoury ingredient, often using it as a light, subtle spice or an infusion. The chef also makes use of other produce grown on the estate, together with amazing local fish and seafood. Not to be missed are the delicious chocolate and cacao based cocktails!

Rabot Hotel from Hotel Chocolat offers a unique alternative to a beach resort in St Lucia. The views of the Petit Piton from the infinity pool were simply stunning and I very much enjoyed sampling the delicious cocoa inspired cuisine at the restaurant. I would highly recommend staying here as part of a twin centre itinerary in St Lucia, perhaps combining with a beach resort in the north of the island.
