Welcome to Anse Chastanet Resort

Anse Chastanet is a luxurious resort in St Lucia which emphasises the natural beauty of the island. The estate the property is set on is a tropical paradise bordered by two beaches, and the resort offers incredible views of the famous Pitons. Designed and built by owner and architect Nick Troubetzkoy, the attention to detail is impeccable - from the inclusion of tropical trees into the actual building to the superb selection of art works.

Accommodation at Anse Chastanet

A room like no other...

Each of the rooms at Anse Chastanet are individually designed to maximise the views of the Pitons or the sea, and are furnished with colourful fabrics and local wood. Some rooms sit at beach level in the tropical gardens while the others wind up the hillside to take advantage of the views and the trade winds. Some rooms have wooden louvred walls which open onto private terraces, but our favourites are the ones that are missing a fourth wall entirely, as they offer a unique indoor/outdoor living experience.

From Caribbean fine dining to grilled cuisine

Anse Chastanet offers some of the best dining in Soufriere which showcases local produce from the resort's own hillside farm. Guests can enjoy options ranging from Caribbean fine dining and exotic Creole flavours to simple grilled cuisine. Two particular highlights are Emerald's - the resort’s exclusively vegan menu, and Jungle Grill which is set on the secluded Anse Mamin beach. The resort also has a chocolate laboratory on site which offers chocolate tasting and truffle-making classes.

Diving at Anse Chastanet

Some of the best diving in the Caribbean

Anse Chastanet provides its guests with a variety of ways to explore St Lucia whether on land, above the water or beneath it! The resort offers fantastic diving and snorkelling directly from the beach and the friendly dive team is on hand for any guidance you may require. Bike tours and hiking trails are available around the luscious resort estate, where guests can also explore old plantation ruins. The resort has two beaches, one of which offers a full beach service, while Anse Mamin is more secluded and is reached by a complimentary water taxi.

Our opinion

The staff at Anse Chastanet made us feel so special from the moment we arrived. This hotel has always been a favourite of mine as the location is stunning and the rooms are all so unique, each with an amazing view. You can do as much or as little as you want here, with a great range of activities on offer. The resort has two beaches, and with a marine park right off the shore it is a great option for keen snorkellers and divers.
