Montpelier Plantation & Beach offers just 18 individually designed guest rooms dotted around a 10-acre hillside garden. All rooms are furnished to a high standard and have been designed to catch the cool, trade wind breezes. Private verandas offer panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, and some rooms also offer distant sea views. A winding path leads you from the heart of the property to the Garden suite, which is situated in lush tropical gardens on the eastern edge of the property and ideal for those seeking seclusion.
Guests at Montpelier Plantation can enjoy a range of dining experiences. Restaurant 750 serves a varied menu that makes use of local ingredients, whilst a more relaxed venue for lunch and dinner is the stylish Indigo Bar and Restaurant, located by the pool and serving sharing platters as well as a gourmet menu. For a memorable dining experience, guests can enjoy a candlelit dinner at Mill Privee - a 300 year-old sugar mill converted into an intimate dining venue. Also not to be missed are the barbeques at Montpelier Plantation's beach club!

Guests can rent bicycles with which to explore the island, and there are also plenty of hiking and biking trails through the rainforest. Guests can also make use of the hotel's tennis courts and visit the nearby golf course at Four Seasons Nevis. For those seeking relaxation, the tranquil swimming pool is the perfect spot to while away the day, and there is also a shuttle service to a secluded, sandy beach which is equipped with plenty of sunshades, sun beds and a pavilion.
Situated in the rural mountains of Nevis, Montpelier has something for everyone. This historical hotel can be both a sanctuary for relaxation, or a base from which to explore the island. The lovely staff made me feel right at home, and I especially enjoyed being greeted by Cosmo the Labrador at reception!

Location: Montpelier Plantation is reached by a combined car and boat transfer from St Kitts. The taxi transfer from St Kitts Airport to the boat launch is approximately 20 minutes. This is followed by a 6 minute boat transfer and a 20 minute taxi transfer to the resort.
Children: Children aged 5 years and above are accepted all-year round, but please note there are no facilities for children.
