Mango Bay is a boutique, all-inclusive resort in St James on the west coast of Barbados. Though located in the heart of Holetown, the property feels tucked away in grounds which lead down to a quiet stretch of beach on the island’s famous Platinum coast.
Rooms at Mango Bay are decorated in a contemporary Caribbean style, with pastel colours and natural wood creating a serene space in which to relax. The majority of rooms overlook the pretty grounds and meandering swimming pool, but for those who prefer to wake up to uninterrupted sea views, we would recommend upgrading to an oceanfront room.

Julian's beachfront restaurant serves a fusion of international and Caribbean cuisine, and guests can choose between dining al fresco, or in the air conditioned restaurant. For those who are keen to experience some alternative, local dining options, the restaurants and bars of Holetown are also just a few minutes walk away.
With the shops and amenities of Holetown right on your doorstep, Mango Bay is the ideal place for exploring Barbados’ ‘Platinum’ west coast. Why not take a stroll along the boardwalk at sunset, or visit the Chattel Village known for its local art and craft shops. A popular pass-time back at the hotel is simply relaxing by the freeform swimming pool or on the beach. Guests can also enjoy a complimentary catamaran cruise along the coast, where you can get great views of some of Barbados’ most luxurious real estate.
The staff at Mango Bay were incredibly welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. The resort is located right in Holetown so offers fabulous value for money in such a central location as well as being right on the beach. There was a friendly atmosphere amongst the guests as we walked round and I got the impression that everyone was pretty relaxed. I would highly recommend the Oceanfront Rooms for their stunning sea views as well as being tucked a little further away from the buzz of Holetown.
