Bursting with colour and full of character, Little Arches is an intimate adult only boutique hotel on the south coast of Barbados, near the small fishing village of Oistins. The family run property exudes Mediterranean style and is adjacent to the white sands of Enterprise Beach. Everything about Little Arches feels personal and nothing is too much trouble for the exceptional staff.
Little Arches boasts just 10 rooms and suites, each of which has been individually designed with tropical décor and beautiful local artwork. Many of the suites extend onto a terrace, balcony or private garden area, with some also boasting their own private plunge pool or Jacuzzi. Rooms do book up quickly though, so we would advise enquiring as early as possible.
Little Arches restaurant, Café Luna, is found on the rooftop and offers stunning panoramic views. It is known for its award winning, Pan-Tropical cuisine which combines Caribbean, Asian and Mediterranean flavours. It might sound unusual, but we can confidently say that it works!
Days at Little Arches can be spent relaxing by the swimming pool, and it is also possible to wander over to the beach adjacent to the hotel. Guests staying for ten nights or more can enjoy a complimentary day trip on the luxury catamaran, Silver Moon, where guests will be offered delicious food and the chance to snorkel. With its proximity to Oistins, we would also highly recommend a visit to the famous Fish Fry on a Friday evening during your stay.
Little Arches is something completely different to anywhere I have visited before, and in a good way! The team are incredibly friendly and great fun, the rooms are quirky and absolutely spotless and everything about the property just makes you smile. Perfectly located on the south coast for getting out and about or for making new friends over drinks on the terrace.
There are 10 rooms at Little Arches, each with air-conditioning, ceiling fans, artist commissioned paintings, tea and coffee making facilities, mini-fridge, sitting area, a bathroom with walk-in shower and hand-crafted pottery basin, hairdryer, an iron and ironing board, bathrobes, in-room safe, telephone, TV, Wi-Fi and alarm clock with USB port.
