Cobblers Cove in Barbados is a family owned hotel that exudes the charm of an English country house. One of the highlights of the hotel is undoubtedly its setting, surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens and overlooking a white sand beach. Cobblers Cove is also within walking distance of the cafes and restaurants of Speightstown - one of our favourite places to spend time in Barbados.
The hotel has 40 spacious suites which boast a living area and a private balcony or terrace. Suites are split between 10 cottages which offer a light and fresh décor and are set either within the gardens or overlooking the sea. There isn’t a suite with a bad view at Cobblers Cove, but our personal recommendation would be to opt for one of the Royal Circle Suites, which offer tropical views through the gardens towards the ocean beyond.
The restaurant at Cobblers Cove has previously been voted the best restaurant in Barbados, and we can see why. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in an elegant setting overlooking the water, with menus showcasing the finest local ingredients. The catch of the day is highly recommended for lunch or dinner, and the a la carte breakfast menu offers an exceptional choice of dishes, with everything from Eggs Benedict to Cinnamon French Toast.
Sumptuous sun loungers are placed on a deck which stretches along the front of the pool overlooking the sea. A few steps lead down to a sandy beach with a swimming platform further out, allowing guests to swim in a warm, sheltered lagoon. Guests can spend their days taking part in the complimentary activities on offer at the hotel, and the concierge is also on hand to assist guests with getting out and exploring the island. Of course it is also possible to simply relax on one of those comfortable pool loungers with a delicious Cobblers’ Cooler in hand and soak up the atmosphere of this charming hotel.

Cobblers Cove offers classical elegance yet maintains a laid back, Caribbean charm. Everything about the hotel is designed for comfort, from the spacious and inviting rooms to the incredibly luxurious sun loungers.
Spacious suites all boast a living area with a balcony or patio, an air-conditioned bedroom with king bed (twin beds available on request, ceiling fans, mini bar with refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities, towelling robes, toiletries, hairdryer, safe, direct dial telephone and Wi-Fi. Some have interconnecting doors to the adjacent room. The decor is luxurious with colourful fabrics, local artwork, coral stone floors and hand-crafted Caribbean furnishings.
