Keyonna Beach is an intimate, all inclusive escape located on a long stretch of secluded white sand on the south west coast of Antigua. Each boasts romantic four-poster beds and refreshing outdoor showers, without the intrusion of televisions or radios. We would highly recommend upgrading to one of the Plunge Pool or Beachfront Sanctuary Pool Cottages, which are charming individual cottages complete with a private pool.
The open-plan beach restaurant sits on a raised wooden deck framed with white drapes, creating an intimate setting for romantic dinners. All meals are à la carte but you won’t need to make any dinner reservations. The fresh and delicious dishes – such as red snapper and spicy local delicacies – are prepared to order and the regular barbecue nights and beach parties are very popular. Grab a Caribbean-based rum cocktail from the casual bar and sink into one of the sofas on the deck to watch the sunset over the ocean.
The surrounding waters are protected by an off-shore reef, providing excellent conditions for snorkelling and swimming. The beach is a relatively quiet spot with few facilities which makes it perfect for sunbathing or strolling along the sands. Those seeking to unwind can enjoy spa and beauty treatments at the Wellness Cottage, whilst a weekly yoga class is offered on a complimentary basis.
Keyonna Beach is rustic and romantic, and would be a great choice for a honeymoon. I would definitely recommend the beachfront pool cottages – I can’t think of anything better than relaxing in a private plunge pool overlooking this beautiful stretch of beach.
