The suites at Hermitage Bay are some of the most luxurious on the island. Guests can choose between suites on the hillside that offer stunning views and private pools, or the beach and garden suites set level with the beach. Whichever location you opt for, you will be treated to elegant interior designs that mirror the natural beauty of their surroundings.
Dining at Hermitage Bay is overseen by the Executive Head Chef, whose talented team serves a creative menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is served on the patio overlooking the ocean whilst dinner is served in the restaurant to the gentle backdrop of live entertainment. Much of the restaurant’s produce is sourced from both an onsite organic vegetable garden and a local family run farm.
The secluded location of Hermitage Bay, surrounded by lush tropical forest, makes this the ideal spot to simply relax and switch off from the outside world. This can be aided by rejuvenating treatments at the Garden Spa or by taking part in one of the regular yoga and Pilates sessions. Guests can also enjoy a weekly cooking demonstration, farm tours that give an insight into the life of an Antiguan farmer and a range of complimentary non-motorised watersports.
It is hard to explain how special Hermitage Bay is. The location on what is arguably one of the prettiest beaches on the island is absolutely spectacular. Some suites are set on the beachfront, but I particularly liked the ones nestled into the hillside as they offer incredible views over the bay. The resort feels intimate, and the level of service and cuisine offered in the restaurant is second to none.
30 Cottages and suites are set amongst the gardens, along the beachfront and nestled into the hillside. Each suite or cottage is a detached unit offering guests privacy and space. Each cottage has air conditioning, ceiling fans, king-size beds, fine Italian bedding, a flat screen TV, safe, DVD player, iPod dock, tea and coffee making facilities and a minibar (restocked daily).
