Our top tip if you are interested in a holiday to COCOS is to book early as availability is hard to come by, particularly during high season!
Cottages at COCOS blend indoor and outdoor living, each offering an outdoor shower and a shaded terrace with a hammock perfect for whiling away the days in paradise. Built with sustainability in mind, local materials have been used wherever possible and cottages feel rustic and natural. We would recommend upgrading to one of the sunset pool cottages, as these not only offer the added luxury of a private pool, but also offer the very best views from their hillside location.
The restaurant at COCOS is multi-tiered and offers stunning ocean views from its elevated location, as well as incredible cuisine of course. The resort prides itself on serving the finest local produce, with freshly caught seafood a regular feature on the lunch and dinner menus. There are also several local restaurants within easy reach for those keen to venture out a couple of times - we will be more than happy to share our recommendations with you!
Days at COCOS can be spent relaxing by the infinity pool or on the beach, making the most of the beach bar which serves an excellent rum punch! The calm waters of the west coast are also the perfect spot to try your hand at the watersports on offer. For those looking to get out and explore, you can also take a stroll to Jolly Harbour.
COCOS is a clifftop hotel with an authentic Caribbean feel. The thing that stood out most for me was the colour of the sea below - it really is as incredible as it looks in the photos! Guests can relax in comfort on one of the two beautiful sandy beaches, or enjoy the stunning sea views from the hammock on their cottage’s balcony. There is a peaceful feel throughout the property, perfect for an understated and relaxed Caribbean holiday.
Accommodation is in private wooden cottages, each with a wrap-around veranda and sea views. All rooms have a king size four poster-style bed fitted with mosquito net, safe, hairdryer, a fridge, air conditioning, ceiling fan, instant coffee making facilities, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, free Wi-Fi and mini fridge that is restocked daily. Cottages do not have a TV.
