Boasting a unique location in Nelson's Dockyard at English Harbour, Admiral's Inn is a boutique gem set in four historic buildings dating back to the 18th Century. We love the authenticity of this property, and feel it works especially well as a twin centre with another property on Antigua.
Accommodation at Admiral's Inn is split between the main hotel building and The Gunpowder Suites, which are located across the harbour and reached by a boat shuttle. The rooms and suites in the main house are simple and cosy, with views either of the harbour, the hillside or the pretty gardens.
Admiral's Inn offers two restaurants. Pillars Restaurant is located in the main house next to the original pillars of a large boathouse that was destroyed during an earthquake in the 19th century. The restaurant serves excellent a la carte meals on its shaded terrace with views over the harbour, and is highly recommended even if you are just visiting English Harbour for the day. Boom Restaurant meanwhile is located in front of the Gunpowder House and serves lunches and cocktails in a poolside setting.
There is an infinity pool located next to Boom Restaurant, or guests can take a short boat shuttle to a beach on the outer harbour which is perfect for swimming. Guests are of course in the perfect location to explore the fascinating history of Nelson's Dockyard and surrounding English Harbour.
Over looking Nelsons Dockyard, this hotel is in a great location. Though the rooms in the main building are charming, I would definitely recommend opting for one of the luxurious Gunpowder Suites just 100 yards across the water.
