Jess’ recent visit
Jess visited Barbados earlier this year and stayed at Sea Breeze Beach House. She stayed in an oceanfront room and loved the stunning views from her balcony. She said the property felt very spacious, and the fact that guests could spread out over three pools and two beaches meant that no one area ever seemed busy. The adults only pool for example felt very peaceful and quiet. She also enjoyed meeting other guests at the daily 6pm champagne and canapes, which she thought was a lovely way to bring everyone together.
Accommodation at Sea Breeze Beach House
The resort has 78 rooms and 44 luxury suites, all decorated in a contemporary Caribbean style with warm wood floors and furnishings that reflect the colours of the ocean. Tropic Breeze recommends upgrading to the Luxury Collection Suites – the Luxury Oceanfront Junior Suites offer luxurious open plan suite boasting uninterrupted ocean views, whilst larger suites ranging from two to four bedrooms are ideal for families. These suites also benefit from upgraded room amenities and complimentary golf at Barbados Golf Club, depending on dates and length of stay.
Indulgent dining options
Sea Breeze Beach House boasts an exciting an innovative range of dining options. The beachside Mahogany Lounge has open air seating and serves buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as a la carte menus on some evenings. Aqua Terra is a casual restaurant open for dinner, offering the freshest seafood, grilled steak and sushi. Cerulean meanwhile boasts creative fine dining accompanied by stunning ocean views, whilst the Flying Fish offers beach and poolside dining. Unique to Sea Breeze is De Rum Shop Cafe, serving homemade Bajan pastries and sweet treats along with smoothies, ice cream and rum punch. The latest addition to the resort is Tipsy on the Beach – a ‘toes in the sand’ beach bar with oversized beanbags and comfortable loungers offering a selection of light bites and cocktails.
A retreat for families and couples
One of our favourite things about Sea Breeze Beach House is that is really does have something for everyone. The facilities for families are excellent. The kids club organises activities such as arts and crafts and treasure hunts, whilst the restaurants offer great options for younger diners, such as made-to-order pizzas at The Flying Fish. For couples looking for peace and quiet, the resort’s adult only pool offers a separate area to relax. Guests enjoying this peaceful space can make the most of luxurious amenities such as memory foam loungers, ice lollies and a scented water misting service. With such a broad appeal, Sea Breeze Beach House is also a perfect option for multi-generational family holidays.
A special wedding destination
Guests staying 7 nights or more in a Classic Ocean View Room (or higher room category) are eligible for a complimentary Classic Elegance Wedding Package. This fantastic package includes the marriage license, transfers to/from the licensing office, the service of a wedding coordinator, a special wedding night turn down service, a bottle of wine during signing, a decorated wedding arch, a one-tiered wedding cake, a bottle of wine in room upon arrival, bridal bouquet and groom’s boutonniere and a romantic in-room breakfast the following morning.
