I was lucky enough to stay at Calabash Grenada this summer and was blown away by the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. My suite was spacious and felt like a home away from home, but the highlight of my stay was definitely the amazing food! Having the option of breakfast served on your terrace feels so special, and the tapas style lunches served at the beachfront restaurant were simply outstanding. Combine this with a beautiful beach and fantastic staff, and Calabash Grenada really does tick all the boxes!

A Day in Paradise
Start your day at Calabash Grenada with an indulgent breakfast. This can either be taken at The Beach Club, or you can order the evening before and wake up to breakfast served on the terrace of your suite. An extensive menu offers options from seasonal fruits, pastries and favourites, such as Eggs Benedict, to Caribbean classics like saltfish souse.
After breakfast, why not relax on the beach whilst the beach attendants keep you feeling refreshed with iced water and fresh fruit juices. For those who like to keep active whilst on holiday, Calabash Grenada offers a range of complimentary non-motorised watersports, including stand up paddle boards, kayaks and hobie cat sailing. The calm bay in front of the hotel is the perfect spot to take to the water and work up an appetite for lunch!
Enjoy lunch at The Beach Club, where guests can choose from an array of delicious tapas dishes as well as salads and larger plates. The tapas menu makes use of the finest ingredients from the island and includes tempting options such as garlic shrimp, crispy duck croquettes and seasonal vegetable tempura.
For a change of scenery, why not head over to the swimming pool after lunch. Guests can relax on one of the sunken pool loungers, perhaps with a custom cocktail in hand, and enjoy views over the hotel’s beautiful tropical gardens. The spa is also right by the pool, so those looking to unwind could indulge in a holistic treatment at what we consider to be one of the finest spas in the Caribbean.
